TER September Super Roundtable

The Executive Roundtable is pleased to host another Super Roundtable for our growing community. This event is generously sponsored by Flinders New Venture Institute - Flinders Unviersity's centre for innovation and entrepreneurship. Our two incredbile guest speakers will be Trudy Dickson from Ambleside Distillers and Steven Walker from Kookaburra Homes. This event is a great opportunity to meet some Roundtable members and get a feel for our community, plus get some amazing business insights from our guest speakers.

Trudy Dickson

Trudy has held senior executive positions within large international companies for over 30 years. In 2016, she made a swift pivot and co-founded her family business, Ambleside Distillers. Trudy draws upon her broad business experience to foster innovation in the business. She notes one of her greatest achievements to be their collaboration with Monarto Zoo - creating a limited edition gin with proceeds going towards rhino conservation.

Steven Walker

Steven Walker is passionate about marketing and sales, and has proven experience in turning businesses around. Six years ago, he was given a new opportunity with a small builder seeing $6million of annual sales. Steven now co-owns this business, Kookaburra Homes, and has grown their annual sales to $67 million. Steven often puts this drive and resilience down to his rough childhood, having left the family home at just 14 years old.
